As before, we still have hand sanitizers in our makeup or skin care basket, and this trend will continue in the spring. And we also strive for slow beauty and natural skin care, but at the same time we miss catchy makeup and good old classics.

So, what is the trendy makeup for spring and summer 2022? This is, first of all, a bright make-up - to shine, so to the fullest - simply because I'm tired of that's all.

Blush

After winter and the absence of the sun, I really want at least some blush to appear on my face. Well, let's use cosmetics. Star make-up artists suggest applying blush to the cheekbones and above. The principle is this - this spring the blush on your face should be visible!

Neon shadows

One of the brightest trends in the truest sense of the word, which we saw at Proenza Schouler, Versace, Prabal Gurung, Chloé. Makeup artists used electric, acid yellow, bright pink, which were visible from afar. And note that not in all cases the shadows are applied over the entire area of the eyelid - make-up stylists deliberately left gaps, focusing on the inner and outer corners of the eyes.

Crystals, sequins and glitter on the eyes

In fact, the shine was present not only on the eyelids, but also on the hair, decollete, hands. But we decided to show you exactly the eyes in sparkles, glitter and crystals. It is very beautiful, very solemnly glamorous and festive.

Berry lips

Berry shades of lipstick never leave the catwalk. But in the spring-summer 2022 collections, we saw almost all the shades that are possible - raspberry, strawberry, cherry, blackberry.

Light lip gloss

Glossy lips were very popular in the early 2000s. And here they are with us again! Makeup artists preferred to use light makeup without bright accents, with a slight sheen to the skin and lips. And now we are not talking about bright flashy tones, but about glosses with delicate peach, pink hues or completely colorless. The make-up is sensual and seductive.

Various arrows

Diverse, because makeup artists did not stop at classic arrows. What we saw: double arrows, wide careless arrows, multi-colored, very long.

Bleached or bleached eyebrows

Quite an unusual beauty trend, although why be surprised in the 21st century. In principle, the trend is not so new. We saw bleached eyebrows in the fall-winter 2014-2015 collections from Marc Jacobs, Alexandre Wang, Givenchy, Dries van Noten. It’s just that in the spring-summer collections of 2022, white or completely discolored eyebrows contrasted as much as possible with thick natural dark eyebrows, which we all (ok, well, almost all) have been striving for lately. And if even 5 years ago designers emphasized the “absence” of eyebrows with rich arrows or smokey ice, this time the makeup was invisible.
